Hilldale Habilitation Center is a Long Term Health Care Facility for the Developmentally Disabled. The Facility provides care 24-hours a day for adults ages 18 through 95, diagnosed with a developmental and/or intellectual disability, who are unable to provide for their own daily needs.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Possess High School Diploma or equivalent general education degree (GED)
- Be a legal resident of the United States
- Be able to clear a criminal background check and Live Scan thru CDPH
- One-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Responsible for the 24-hour care and development of residents each day.
Responsible for supporting individuals with developmental disabilities in their development of basic living and social skills.
DIRECT CARE STAFF DUTIES / CNA
Responsible for supporting individuals with developmental disabilities in their development of basic living and social skills with the primary goal of integrating them into the community to the best of their ability by performing the following duties.
- Comply with facility policies and regulations.
- Treat each resident as an individual and with proper respect.
- Assist with meal times, feeding resident
- Assist resident with grooming, showers, teeth brushing, etc.
- Provide a home-like setting for all individual living in the home.
- Understand and follow individual’s rights.
- Recognize early signs of illness and the need for professional assistance.
- Observe individuals’ conditions and behaviors, documenting in on-going notes significant issues as they occur and notify administrator and/or doctor as needed. Report any occurrences to on-coming shift, if appropriate.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.50 - $22.00 per hour
