The Role
Panoramic Psychiatry is looking for a dedicated medical biller to join our team. We hope to support and invest in someone we like who will become a true extension of our tight-knit team who can offer a human connection during client interactions. Because we are a psychiatry practice, the coding is pretty straightforward; our top priority is finding someone with excellent customer service skills who can communicate with our patients with kindness and a personal touch.
Structure & Culture
- In-Person Preferred: We are looking for someone to work in-office to help build and maintain our team dynamic.
- Supportive Environment: You will be joining a wonderful, collaborative team that truly cares about the human side of mental health. As a small practice with one biller you would have autonomy over your systems and support from our front end staff.
Responsibilities
- Revenue Cycle Management: Manage full-cycle billing, including claims submission, payment posting, and follow-up on outstanding AR.
- Patient Communication: Act as the direct point of contact for patient billing questions, providing empathetic and clear explanations.
- Insurance Coordination: Resolve claim denials and work with payers to ensure accurate reimbursement.
- Internal Collaboration: Coordinate with our office manager and clinical staff to ensure administrative efficiency.
Qualifications
- Experience: A background in medical billing; esp. behavioral health experience is a plus.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written skills with a focus on kindness and customer service.
- Technical Proficiency: Comfortable with EHR systems and billing software.
- Spokane-Based: Must be local to Spokane to participate in our office culture and team-building.
Compensation
- $25-$30 per an hour dependent on experience
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
