Description:
Overview
As a Senior AOG Technician, you are the technical authority in the field. When an aircraft goes down — at a domestic airport, an international destination, or a remote tarmac — you lead the response. You will mentor teammates, make independent decisions under pressure, and represent the gold standard of private aviation maintenance.
What You Will Do
-
Lead and coordinate AOG response deployments domestically and internationally as the on-site technical authority
-
Independently diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, and avionics issues on high-performance business jets
-
Mentor and guide junior technicians during multi-person deployments
-
Serve as the primary liaison with clients, flight crews, and vendors in high-stakes environments
-
Own the full return-to-service process: work orders, sign-off documentation, parts accounting, and FAR compliance
-
Identify systemic maintenance trends and communicate findings to leadership
-
Deploy rapidly via commercial airline or company AOG van, carrying tools and parts provided on site to support the mission
-
Travel up to 200 miles by vehicle from the assigned base location for AOG events; trips beyond 200 miles will be by flight
