Duties
- Act as the primary point of contact for patients, guiding them through treatment options and financial arrangements with clarity and confidence
- Schedule appointments efficiently, coordinating with dental staff to optimize daily patient flow
- Verify insurance coverage and explain treatment costs to ensure transparency and patient understanding
- Collect and organize patient information, including medical history and consent forms, maintaining accuracy and confidentiality
- Communicate treatment plans clearly to patients, answering questions and addressing concerns proactively
- Support the dental team by managing administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and follow-up communications
- Ensure all documentation complies with practice policies and healthcare regulations
Experience
- Previous experience in a medical or dental office setting is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare administrative procedures
- Proven ability to support medical office operations with excellent organizational skills
- Familiarity with dental office workflows is a plus but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Demonstrated proficiency in office software applications and medical record management systems
