Genox Transportation is a growing transportation company committed to providing safe, reliable service to our customers. We are seeking an organized and energetic Driver Recruiter to help identify, screen, and onboard qualified CDL drivers to support our continued growth.
Position Summary
The Driver Recruiter plays a critical role in our recruiting process by working directly with driver applicants, screening candidates, coordinating onboarding activities, and ensuring drivers meet company and regulatory requirements. This position works closely with Operations, Safety, and Recruiting leadership to maintain a steady pipeline of qualified drivers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Review and process driver applications.
- Communicate with applicants to obtain required hiring documentation.
- Screen candidates to ensure they meet company hiring standards.
- Work closely with the Safety Department regarding driver qualifications and compliance requirements.
- Coordinate hotel accommodations and transportation for orientation attendees.
- Answer incoming recruiting calls and respond to applicant inquiries.
- Create and maintain job advertisements on Indeed and other recruiting platforms.
- Follow up with terminal managers regarding hiring needs and recruiting priorities.
- Communicate orientation schedules and upcoming hires to management.
- Maintain accurate recruiting records and applicant tracking information.
Qualifications
- Previous recruiting, staffing, customer service, sales, or transportation industry experience preferred.
- CDL driver recruiting experience is strongly preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and online recruiting platforms.
- Experience with Tenstreet is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
