Duties
- Operate POS system to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Manage food service customer orders, including taking orders, entering data into POS, and ensuring timely fulfillment
- Prepare basic snack items and assist with food handling duties to support kitchen operations
- Upsell menu items to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining excellent customer service standards
- Maintain a clean workspace by sanitizing surfaces, restocking supplies, and adhering to food safety protocols
- Handle cash register operations, process cash transactions, and give accurate change using cash handling best practices
- Support food safety management by following sanitation procedures, proper food handling techniques, and maintaining overall cleanliness in the snack bar area
Experience
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Experience with food preparation, food handling, or culinary tasks is advantageous
- Demonstrated time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Basic math skills for processing cash transactions and balancing register at shift end
