Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our law firm. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in real estate, contract and banking law and bankruptcy from the creditor's side. This position requires excellent research and writing skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple cases effectively.
Duties
- Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as Lexis-Nexis to support case preparation and strategy.
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs, ensuring clarity and compliance with relevant laws.
- Assist in the representation of clients in court proceedings and negotiations.
- Collaborate with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates on case progress.
- Manage a caseload effectively while prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Stay informed about developments in the areas where we provide legal services.
- Support the legal administrative functions of the office by maintaining organized files and documentation.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the state bar association and active license to practice law.
- Strong research skills with proficiency in legal research databases such as Lexis-Nexis.
- Excellent writing skills with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts clearly.
- Background in real estate, contract disputes, banking law and bankruptcy is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
