Overview
Empire Waterproofing, Inc. is seeking a dependable, hardworking Construction Shop Crewman to join our team. This position is responsible for maintaining an organized shop, delivering and picking up construction materials, and assisting field crews as needed. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, stays productive, and works well independently and as part of a team.
Duties
- Deliver and pick up construction materials, tools, and equipment from job sites and suppliers.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment.
- Organize, inventory, and properly store tools, equipment, and materials.
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
- Assist with job site cleanup and material handling when needed.
- Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance of company vehicles and equipment.
- Complete assigned tasks efficiently and in a timely manner.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Support the construction crews with additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record (required).
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
- Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials is preferred.
- Forklift experience is a plus but not required.
Work Schedule
- Regular Hours: Monday through Friday 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
- Some days may require earlier start times to complete material deliveries or meet project schedules.
- Occasional overtime may be required based on workload and project needs.

Compensation: Competitive pay based on experience.
