Dogz101 is looking for a motivated, organized, and dog-savvy Receptionist / Operations Manager to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves working with dogs and people, and has a passion for helping a business grow through exceptional customer service and social media engagement.
Responsibilities
Client Relations & Front Desk
- Greet clients and provide exceptional customer service.
- Check dogs in and out for grooming, training, daycare, and boarding services.
- Answer phones, emails, text messages, and social media inquiries.
- Educate clients about our services and recommend appropriate programs.
Scheduling & Administrative Duties
- Schedule grooming appointments, dog training evaluations, board-and-train programs, and follow-up lessons.
- Manage appointment calendars and maintain accurate client records.
- Coordinate communication between trainers, groomers, and clients.
- Handle deposits, payments, and daily administrative tasks.
Dog Handling
- Safely handle dogs of all breeds, sizes, temperaments, and energy levels.
- Understand basic canine body language and behavior.
- Maintain a calm and professional demeanor when working around dogs.
Social Media & Marketing
- Create and post engaging content for social media platforms.
- Stay current with trends, reels, and viral content opportunities.
- Capture photos and videos of dogs in training, grooming, daycare, and boarding.
- Assist with promoting company events, programs, and special offers.
Facility Management
- Oversee the cleanliness and organization of the facility.
- Ensure lobby, grooming areas, training spaces, and common areas remain presentable and professional.
- Help maintain company standards and hold staff accountable to cleanliness expectations.
- Assist with inventory management and supply ordering.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service, management, reception, pet care, veterinary, grooming, or dog training industries preferred.
- Strong knowledge of dog breeds and canine behavior.
- Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and breeds.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Social media experience, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Reels.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to take initiative.
- Dependable and committed to being present during scheduled business hours.
