Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Sales/Estimator/Project Manager to join our construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately estimating project costs, managing bids, and overseeing the execution of construction projects from inception to completion. Your expertise will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities
- Generate leads, engage with potential clients, negotiate and close contracts.
- Prepare detailed project estimates for premanufactured steel buildings by analyzing blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications using estimating software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam.
- Review construction drawings thoroughly to interpret technical details and material requirements accurately.
- Develop comprehensive project budgets, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs, ensuring precise cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients to secure favorable terms while maintaining quality standards.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously by coordinating schedules, tracking progress, and ensuring timely delivery of all project milestones.
- Utilize construction management software and spreadsheets to monitor project performance, update cost estimates, and prepare detailed reports for stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with clients, architects, engineers, and internal teams to ensure clear communication and alignment on project scope and expectations.
- Conduct regular site visits to oversee construction activities, review progress against estimates, and address any issues related to cost or schedule.
- Lead efforts in material cost estimating and procurement planning to optimize resources while minimizing waste.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and contractual obligations throughout all phases of the project.
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing construction projects as an estimator or project manager within the commercial construction industry.
- Strong proficiency with estimating software such as HeavyBid, Bluebeam, Xactimate, along with construction management tools.
- Excellent blueprint reading skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings accurately.
- Solid understanding of construction estimating processes including material requirements from blueprints and cost management techniques.
- Demonstrated ability in negotiation with vendors, subcontractors, and clients to achieve competitive pricing while maintaining quality standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel spreadsheets for cost analysis; Word for reports) is essential.
- Experience in managing project budgets from initial estimation through completion with a focus on cost control and material estimating.
- Construction site experience combined with a strong background in construction management principles is highly desirable.
- Effective communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration across multiple stakeholders.
- Knowledge of contracts, project management methodologies, and safety regulations applicable to commercial construction projects.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
