POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Account Manager is a primary day-to-day contact for our clients. The Senior Account Manager partners closely with clients and cross-functional teams to deliver work that drives measurable results and helps move our clients’ businesses forward. This position requires excellent communication and organizational skills, broad experience across all marketing channels, and an ability to think strategically in collaboration with clients and internal teams. This role must be able to develop a deep understanding of a client’s business, their products and services, and their competitors and come to the work with an extremely proactive mindset.
Responsibilities

Guides and delivers flawless execution of projects in collaboration with internal teams

Manage regular client communication touchpoints, including status reports, calls, video chats and email engagements

Author briefs based on planned campaigns, client input and business needs

Define key project milestones and actively monitors project progress to ensure on-time, on-budget and on-brief delivery

Defines scopes of work and deliver profitably on those scopes of work

Knows and understands the skills and capabilities of the agency in order to bring them to bear in our client partnerships

Helps to identify growth opportunities within existing accounts as well as risks or threats to the account

Works within and helps to develop a healthy and productive cross-functional team atmosphere in partnership with internal colleagues where all employees are empowered to live out our core values of Be Curious, Be Thoughtful and Be Brave

Brings strategic marketing and industry thought leadership forward to help clients develop innovative solutions to their business challenges
QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum of five years of experience in an account management role, preferably at an agency

Proven ability to foster relationships with mid-to-senior-level clients

Proven ability to work within and help lead internal teams, both within the account management department and across other functional departments

Ability to manage revenue, profitability and expenses

Exceptional communication skills, including small-group and large-group presentations

Understanding of and ability to tie creative solutions to marketing metrics

Excellent budget and negotiation skills

Ability to lead cross-functional teams

Power user of email, text, video conferencing, presentation software and standard business software with superior organizational skills
