Job Overview
The Puerto Rican Family Institute-Bronx Head Start Program has immediate openings for Part Time Program Aides at their Bronx location.
Description: The Program Aide assist the teachers in preparing and implementing daily classroom activities; assisting with the supervision of children; and maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
Part-time position, 5 hours per day, 25 hours per week Monday-Friday 9:00-2:00 pm.
Qualifications:
· High School Diploma or GED
· Current physical examination and TB screen documentation upon hire
· CPR/First Aid Certificates
· DOI Fingerprints and Central State Registry Clearance
· Previous Head Start or Early Childhood experience (preferred)
· Multi-cultural experience (preferred)
· Computer literate
· Spoken and written fluency in English/Spanish; English/French preferred
