TMS is a specialized heavy haul trucking company looking to hire an on-site mechanic. We have a fleet of trucks and trailers, that need consistent care and maintenance to keep our operations running smoothly. We are looking for a self starter that can keep their pace of productivity high while at work. We are a small business that welcomes opportunities for growth.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on fleet vehicles and equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues
- Conduct inspections to ensure vehicles and equipment are in compliance with safety standards
- Complete necessary paperwork and documentation for repairs and maintenance
- Coordinate with Drivers to prioritize and schedule repairs
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
-Must be at least 18 years old
-Must be able to pass drug test
-Must have welding experience
-Must have experience working on trucks, trailers, & keeping equipment DOT compliant
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
