We are seeking a highly motivated Medical Assistant to support our Mohs Micrographic Surgery team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced procedural environment, is detail-oriented, and is passionate about patient care.

The chosen candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Assist the physician during Mohs surgical procedures
- Prepare and maintain sterile fields and surgical instruments
- Perform patient intake, documentation, and EMR charting (EMA/ModMed preferred)
- Provide pre- and post-operative patient education
- Assist with wound care, bandaging, and suture removal
- Ensure room turnover efficiency between surgical stages
- Support specimen handling and lab coordination as needed
- Maintain compliance with OSHA and infection control standards
Qualifications:
- Medical Assistant experience required (dermatology or surgical experience preferred)
- Mohs or procedural experience strongly preferred (will train the right candidate)
- Strong multitasking ability and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Ability to maintain composure in a high-volume surgical setting
- Previous clinical experience required
- Dermatology/ Mohs surgery experience a plus
- Excellent patient care skills
- Attention to detail while working in a fast paced environment
- Scribe experience a plus, but will train

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
