Responsible for providing the highest quality, safe care to the children of members and guests by performing the following duties:
- Ensures the safety of the children at all times by checking all children continually.
- Greets each parent and child in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Supervises and entertains all children in Child Care in the safest manner and in compliance with the highest standards of care.
- Oversees the security system for signing children in/out of the Child Care facility.
- Ensures that all toys and equipment function properly and do not present safety or infection hazards to children and removes any toys, equipment, or furniture that are broken or present an actual or potential hazard to children.
- Ensures that toys, bedding and the area are clean and sanitary.
- Follows and enforces the infant reservation policy.
- Understands and initiates the emergency procedures for evacuation of the Child Care area and procedures for lost, missing or abducted children if necessary.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Experience in the operation of childcare services or a related facility preferred.
CPR Certification and recent AED training
Basic First Aid Training Certification
