Salary: $21,000–$24,000 annually (10 months) based on experience and qualifications

About Living Stone
Living Stone is a Christ-centered hybrid homeschool program serving families who desire an education rooted in biblical truth and academic excellence. Students attend classes on campus Tuesday through Thursday while continuing their learning at home on Mondays and Fridays in partnership with their parents.
Our classrooms are intentionally small, relational, hands-on, and designed to cultivate curiosity, critical thinking, and a love of learning.
Position Summary
We are seeking a passionate and engaging 3rd Grade Teacher to lead a classroom of elementary students during our Tuesday–Thursday on-campus program.
The ideal candidate sees teaching as both an academic calling and a ministry opportunity. We are looking for someone who delights in helping children grow in wisdom, confidence, character, and faith while partnering closely with parents.
Responsibilities
- Teach core elementary subjects, including language arts, math, science, social studies, and Bible.
- Create an engaging, hands-on classroom that encourages curiosity and active learning.
- Integrate a biblical worldview into every subject and classroom interaction.
- Prepare clear at-home learning plans and assignments for Mondays and Fridays.
- Foster a joyful, orderly, and Christ-centered classroom culture.
- Assess student growth and provide meaningful feedback to families.
- Communicate regularly and professionally with parents.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and administration to ensure a consistent student experience.
- Participate in weekly chapel, staff meetings, school events, and professional collaboration.
Qualifications
-Required
- A growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
- Agreement with Living Stone's Statement of Faith and educational philosophy.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- A heart for children and a passion for Christian education.
- Ability to work collaboratively with parents and fellow educators.
-Preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
- Elementary classroom teaching or homeschool teaching experience.
- Experience creating engaging, hands-on lessons.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace and educational technology.
