Join our dynamic retail team as a Store Team Member and become the friendly face that delivers exceptional shopping experiences! In this energetic role, you’ll engage with customers, assist with product selection, and ensure the store runs smoothly. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help create a welcoming environment where customers feel valued and inspired to shop again. Whether you're guiding product demos, managing transactions, or stocking shelves, your positive attitude will drive our store’s success every day.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service to enhance their shopping experience
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately for retail sales transactions and cash handling
- Assist customers with product demos, upselling opportunities, and answering questions about merchandise
- Maintain well-organized merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked with fresh, appealing products
- Process retail transactions efficiently while practicing excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Support inventory management through stocking, inventory counts, and product replenishment
- Promote store promotions and upselling initiatives to maximize sales opportunities
Qualifications
- Previous retail sales or grocery store experience preferred but not required; enthusiasm is key!
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic math skills for accurate transactions
- Strong communication skills and the ability to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment
- Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer needs effectively
- Supervising experience is beneficial for those interested in leadership growth within the team
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift moderate loads throughout shifts; attention to detail is essential
- Knowledge of merchandising, product demos, and upselling techniques enhances performance
