Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our cabin rental team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across our facilities. Your expertise will ensure that all equipment and systems operate efficiently, safely, and reliably. Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical systems, HVAC units, refrigeration equipment, and kitchen appliances to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and repair appliance malfunctions, including HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and kitchen equipment using schematics and technical manuals.
- Install new appliances and mechanical systems following safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
- Troubleshoot complex issues involving HVAC & appliance technology, mechanical systems repair, and electrical components.
- Operate company vehicles safely for maintenance tasks at various locations while adhering to all safety protocols.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation for accurate repairs.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used in compliance with operational procedures.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Service Technician or Maintenance Technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, and mechanical systems repair.
- Demonstrated ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints effectively.
- Experience with helping cabin guests use thermostats, appliances and amenities like hot tubs properly.
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment maintenance such as ovens, dishwashers, refrigerators, and other commercial appliances.
- Skilled in maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) practices with a focus on equipment repair and preventive maintenance strategies.
- Construction experience or familiarity with building systems is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with team members and clients alike.
- Leadership qualities that support team collaboration and safety compliance are highly valued.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
