Hermitage Hills Grow U is hiring! We are a faith-based preschool program looking for a part-time afternoon floater to join our team! We are looking for someone to work from 2:00pm until we close at 5:30pm Monday-Friday. Our start time is flexible with being as early as 11:00am if needed. We have an amazing work environment and are excited to have a new team member join us!
Duties
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in young children
- Use effective behavior management techniques to promote positive behavior in the classroom
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive learning environment
- Communicate with parents/guardians about their child's development and any concerns or achievements
Qualifications
- Experience working with preschool-aged children in an educational setting
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues
- Proficient in classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies
- Familiarity with toddler care routines, including diapering, feeding, and naptime procedures
