Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our healthcare team, dedicated to improving patients' mobility, function, and quality of life. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate physical capabilities, mobility limitations, and physiological conditions using detailed medical terminology and anatomy knowledge.
- Develop and implement customized care plans that incorporate physiotherapy techniques such as trigger point therapy, orthopedics strategies, and geriatrics-focused interventions.
- Deliver hands-on therapy sessions in an outpatient clinic to promote recovery and functional independence.
- Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans based on physiological responses and recovery milestones.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, occupational therapists, and speech therapists.
- Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, home exercise programs, and self-care strategies to support long-term health outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care using electronic medical record (EMR) systems while adhering to healthcare regulations and confidentiality standards.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology essential for accurate assessment and treatment planning.
- Proven experience in acute care settings such as hospitals or inpatient units with the ability to manage complex cases effectively.
- Skilled in developing comprehensive care plans tailored to diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, orthopedics, and community-based clients.
- Expertise in outpatient therapy services with proficiency in physiotherapy techniques like trigger point therapy and orthopedic rehabilitation.
- Experience with home & community care environments to facilitate patient recovery outside clinical settings.
- Familiarity with EMR systems for efficient documentation and patient record management.
- Excellent communication skills for patient education and interdisciplinary collaboration.
