Active Registered Respiratory Tech (RRT) license and 2+ years of in-patient hospital Respiratory Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications & Experience
- Current credential as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the NBRC
- Valid state licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner
- BLS certification (and ACLS preferred)
- Previous acute care or hospital experience in respiratory therapy
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
Schedule
- Full-time, rotating shifts (including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by department needs)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive respiratory assessments and deliver appropriate therapeutic interventions for patients of all ages
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other medical professionals to develop and implement effective respiratory care plans
- Operate, monitor, and maintain respiratory equipment, ensuring proper functioning and safety at all times
- Administer various respiratory therapy treatments, including oxygen therapy, aerosol medication delivery, mechanical ventilation, and airway management
- Document treatments, assessments, and patient responses clearly and timely in accordance with facility protocols
- Participate in emergency response situations, code blues, and rapid response teams when needed
