Animal Care Attendant / Customer Service Representative
Part-Time & Full-Time Positions Available
Do you have a passion for animals and enjoy working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment? We are looking for a dependable, hardworking, compassionate team player to join our growing team! This is a very physical position and is best suited for someone who enjoys staying active while providing exceptional care for dogs and cats.
Compensation: Competitive hourly pay based on experience.
Responsibilities
- Walking, feeding, and providing daily care for dogs and cats
- Administering medications as directed
- Supervising and interacting with dogs in our doggy daycare program
- Safely handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments
- Cleaning and maintaining kennels, play areas, and common areas
- Monitoring pet behavior and reporting any health or behavioral concerns
- Answering phones, responding to emails, and scheduling appointments
- Greeting clients and providing exceptional customer service
- Working closely with teammates to ensure every pet receives outstanding care
Qualifications
- Veterinary, kennel, daycare, or other animal care experience is preferred, but we are happy to train the right candidate
- Must be comfortable working with and safely handling large dogs
- Must be able to lift 50+ pounds and perform repetitive physical tasks including bending, kneeling, standing, walking, cleaning, and being on your feet for extended periods
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude
- Dependable, punctual, and reliable attendance is essential
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work independently while also being a strong team player
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays
