Gotham Archery Baton Rouge LLC is hiring a front desk host, and we're not going to pretend we want a quiet wallflower. We want the person who treats walking through the door like an entrance. If you've ever been told you're "a lot" in a way that filled a room, this is the role for you!.
What you'll actually do
- Run the front desk: answer the phone, greet everyone like they're the guest of honor.
- Help customers when they come in, and make them want to come back.
- Other responsibilities include tracking incoming orders and making sure the technicians get it done. So if you’re OCD, that’s even better.
- Take payments and keep the front desk presentable.
- Track customer repair dropoffs and pickups accurately every time.
- Take payments and keep the front area clean.
- General cleaning and organization.
Who we're looking for
- Warm, fast on your feet, and genuinely good with people, in person and on the phone.
- On time, every time. The show doesn't wait for you.
- Detail-obsessed.
- Bonus points for energy, humor, and the ability to make a Tuesday afternoon feel like opening night.
No archery experience needed, we can teach you the bow stuff. We can't teach charisma.
We’re looking for multiple people to cover some/all times between:
Tuesday - Friday 1PM to 7:30PM
Saturday 11:30AM to 7:30PM
(we are considering opening Sundays from 2PM to 6PM)
Note that candidates offered employment will be required to submit to a background check due to the nature of the job (dealing with children, bows and arrows, etc).
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
