Position Overview: HVAC Installer
As an HVAC Installer, you'll play a critical role in delivering high-quality heating and cooling solutions to our customers. You’ll be part of a skilled team responsible for installing, maintaining, and servicing HVAC systems that bring comfort and reliability to homes and businesses across the Columbia area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Professionally install, service, and maintain residential and commercial HVAC systems
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to ensure accurate system design
- Diagnose and resolve system issues in the field
- Work alongside construction crews to integrate HVAC systems during build-outs
- Use mechanical tools and instruments (such as ohmmeters) for testing and repairs
- Safely handle refrigerants and adhere to all safety regulations
What We're Looking For:
- Knowledge of HVAC systems and refrigeration principles
- Strong mechanical aptitude and experience in construction or plumbing
- Ability to read HVAC schematics and blueprints
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools and electrical equipment
- Valid driver’s license
