Warehouse Fitness is a leading fitness equipment company serving major retailers and e-commerce customers throughout North America. We are looking for an experienced Category Manager – E-Commerce to grow our online business across Amazon and other major retail marketplaces.
Responsibilities Category Management
- Develop and execute category strategies to increase sales, profitability, and market share.
- Analyze sales trends, market conditions, and customer insights to identify growth opportunities.
- Develop pricing, assortment, and product lifecycle strategies.
Customer & Strategic Partner Management
- Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with major e-commerce customers to drive long-term business growth.
- Serve as the primary business contact for assigned accounts and build strong relationships with customer buying, merchandising, and category management teams.
- Lead Joint Business Planning (JBP), annual business reviews, promotional planning, and new product launches with key retail partners.
- Identify opportunities to expand product assortment, increase sales, improve profitability, and grow market share.
- Collaborate with customers on pricing, forecasting, inventory planning, and marketing initiatives to achieve shared business objectives.
- Manage and grow business with major online retailers, including Amazon, Walmart.com, Target.com, Lowe's, Home Depot, Costco, Sam's Club, Academy Sports, Wayfair, and other key e-commerce customers.
Amazon & Marketplace Management
- Manage Amazon Vendor Central (1P) and Seller Central (3P) accounts.
- Create and optimize Amazon product listings, including titles, bullet points, descriptions, backend keywords, A+ Content, Brand Store, and SEO.
- Manage Amazon Brand Registry and ensure listing compliance.
- Monitor account health, Buy Box performance, inventory availability, and catalog quality.
Digital Marketing & Advertising
- Manage Amazon Advertising campaigns, including Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display.
- Optimize advertising performance by improving ROAS, ACOS, conversions, and sales.
- Plan and execute Prime Day, Lightning Deals, seasonal promotions, coupons, and other marketing campaigns.
Supply Chain & Procurement
- Forecast demand and work with Supply Chain to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Source products, negotiate supplier contracts, and manage vendor relationships.
- Improve inventory turnover while minimizing stock-outs and excess inventory.
Financial & Business Analysis
- Analyze sales, margins, inventory, pricing, and advertising performance.
- Develop pricing strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.
- Prepare business reviews, forecasts, and recommendations for management.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Product Development, Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Finance to execute business initiatives and achieve company goals.
Qualifications Required
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- 5+ years of Category Management or E-Commerce experience.
- Hands-on experience with Amazon Vendor Central (1P) and/or Seller Central (3P).
- Experience managing major online retail accounts.
- Strong knowledge of Amazon SEO, content writing, listing optimization, and A+ Content.
- Experience managing Amazon PPC advertising campaigns.
- Strong analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with inventory planning and supply chain management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred
- Experience with sporting goods, fitness equipment, consumer products, or durable goods.
- Experience working with Walmart.com, Target.com, Lowe's, Home Depot, Costco, Wayfair, or other major omnichannel retailers.
- Experience with Amazon Brand Registry.
- Knowledge of ERP systems, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or Nielsen.
