Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HVAC Manager to lead our facilities maintenance team in ensuring optimal operation of mechanical and electrical systems across our manufacturing environment. Duties
- Manage and supervise facilities maintenance teams responsible for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems to ensure efficient operations.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to minimize downtime.
- Oversee HVAC system repair, troubleshooting, and installation activities, ensuring adherence to safety regulations such as OSHA standards.
- Utilize schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering troubleshooting techniques to diagnose issues with HVAC, electrical systems (including high voltage and low voltage), and mechanical equipment.
- Coordinate projects related to facilities upgrades or repairs while managing timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations related to industrial maintenance, electrical systems (including high voltage), and plumbing system maintenance.
- Conduct inspections using tools like ohmmeters and multimeters; interpret schematics; perform electrical testing; and document findings accurately.
- Lead training sessions on maintenance repair procedures, safety protocols, and the proper use of tools such as the ohmmeter for team members.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and safety incidents in accordance with company policies.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot complex mechanical or electrical issues affecting manufacturing processes.
Qualifications
- Proven management experience supervising facilities maintenance or industrial maintenance teams within manufacturing environments.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in HVAC system repair, mechanical systems repair, plumbing system maintenance, and electrical troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics interpretation, and engineering troubleshooting techniques.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations related to industrial maintenance operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for reporting and documentation purposes.
- Experience managing projects using project management principles; ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Skilled in using CMMS software for work order management and maintenance tracking.
- Electrical experience including working with high voltage (HV) and low voltage systems; ability to use testing tools like ohmmeters confidently.
- Strong leadership qualities with excellent team management skills; capable of supervising diverse teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills in English for clear instructions and reporting purposes.
