Overview
We are looking for a veterinarian assistant to join our team! Experience is preferred, a love for animals and client care is a must.
Animal Medical Clinic is a privately owned, small animal practice that has been serving the Tri-Cities area for over 40 years. Having opened our new facility in June of last year, we have welcomed new doctors and continued to grow as a team. We strive to provide top-of-the-line care for both our furry patients and our clients.
Duties
- Assist veterinarians with patient exams, treatments, and procedures
- Preform diagnostic testing and collect samples
- Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed by veterinary staff
- Care for hospitalized and boarding patients
- Maintain a clean and safe environment
- Aid with front desk responsibilities when needed: scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and maintaining accurate medical records
- Provide outstanding customer service
Experience (preferred but not required):
- Experience working in a veterinary clinic setting
- Hands-on experience with animal care, animal restraint, medication administration, and pet care practices
- Customer service experience
