Warehouse Manager Job Description
Position Summary
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient shipping, inventory accuracy, and a clean, organized work environment. This position manages outbound shipments, maintains inventory integrity, coordinates with internal and international teams, and ensures warehouse operations support customer and business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee the daily packing and shipping of outbound products to ensure on-time delivery.
- Monitor and clear the outbound SAP shipping list each day to maintain accurate order processing.
- Perform weekly inventory cycle counts and investigate discrepancies to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Conduct routine inventory counts of service parts and ensure stock levels are accurate and properly documented.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment in accordance with company policies and safety standards.
- Ensure all warehouse activities are completed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with company procedures.
- Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes, inventory control, and operational efficiency.
- Support other warehouse and logistics functions as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse management or supervisory experience preferred.
- Experience using SAP or similar ERP systems preferred.
- Strong attention to detail required.
- Strong organizational and inventory management skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a warehouse environment as needed.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to pass a background check and drug testing
- Must be able to safely handle firearms and follow all applicable laws and safety procedures
