A&K Landscaping is hiring a Maintenance Apprentice for our landscape maintenance team. This is an entry-level role for someone who wants to learn the landscaping trade, work outdoors, and grow into a skilled maintenance professional. No landscape experience is required. What matters most is that you show up on time, work hard, take coaching well, and bring a good attitude every day.
What You’ll Learn:
As a Maintenance Apprentice, you’ll work alongside experienced crew members and crew leaders while learning how to care for residential and commercial landscapes to A&K standards. You’ll be trained on:
- Mowing, edging, trimming, blowing, and cleanup
- Weed control and property detailing
- Basic pruning and plant care
- Safe tool and equipment handling
- Jobsite safety and PPE expectations
- Truck, trailer, and tool organization
- Daily closeout habits and communication
- How to work at a steady, consistent pace without cutting corners

Requirements
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Ability to get to work on time consistently
- Ability to work outdoors and perform physical labor
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- No smoking or vaping at work
- Must be respectful, safe, and able to work well with a team
