Responsibilities
- Perform detailed cleaning of kitchen exhaust hoods, ducts, filters, and related components according to industry standards and safety protocols
- Inspect systems for grease buildup, blockages, or damage, and report findings promptly
- Use specialized tools and equipment to safely access high or hard-to-reach areas within commercial kitchens
- Follow all safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure a safe working environment
- Maintain accurate records of completed work, inspections, and any issues identified during cleaning processes
- Communicate effectively with clients to schedule services and address any specific cleaning requirements or concerns
- Adhere to environmental regulations by properly disposing of grease and debris generated during cleaning
Requirements
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, climbing ladders, bending, and working in confined spaces
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and safety compliance
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members
- Basic knowledge of commercial kitchen operations is a plus but not required; training will be provided
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for travel between job sites
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings or evenings as needed for client schedules
- Prior experience in cleaning or maintenance roles is advantageous but not mandatory; we value motivated individuals eager to learn
