Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding service throughout their visit
- Prepare non-alcoholic beverages such as coffee, tea, and specialty drinks with precision and care
- Operate POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately
- Handle cash, credit card, and mobile payments efficiently while processing cash transactions with basic math skills
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and food prep zones in accordance with food safety standards
- Assist with food handling and preparation, ensuring quality and freshness of menu items
- Manage beverage service including drink preparation, serving, and refilling to ensure customer satisfaction
Experience
- Previous food service or café experience preferred but not required; training provided for motivated learners
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Basic math proficiency for cash handling and retail math calculations
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment demonstrating excellent time management skills
- Barista experience or coffee industry background is advantageous but not mandatory
