We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Mitigation Manager to lead our mitigation team and oversee emergency restoration projects from start to finish.
Job Description:
As a professional Mitigation Manager at Rocky Mountain Cleaning & Restoration, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our exceptional service standards and exceeding customer expectations. You will be responsible for managing technicians, coordinating jobs, ensuring quality work, maintaining customer satisfaction, and driving production efficiency.
This position requires strong leadership, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate has experience in water, fire, mold, lead, asbestos, and storm damage restoration and can effectively manage multiple projects while supporting team growth and operational success.
Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
- Supervise and support mitigation technicians and crew leaders.
- Conduct training, coaching, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure team members follow company procedures and safety standards.
- Ensure clear two-way communication between technicians, managers, or sub-contractors.
- Assist with recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new employees if needed.
Project Management:
- Oversee mitigation projects from initial loss through completion.
- Schedule crews, equipment, and resources efficiently.
- Responsible for inventory and loading the work vehicle with equipment, products, and supplies needed for each project.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and production goals.
- Ensure all work is completed according to industry standards and company expectations.
Customer Service:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers during mitigation projects.
- Maintain clear communication with homeowners, property managers, insurance adjusters, and other stake holders.
- Address customer concerns and ensure a positive experience throughout the restoration process.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and coordinate job schedules to meet customer demands.
- Represent Rocky Mountain Cleaning & Restoration with integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to exceptional service for all parties involved.
Documentation & Compliance:
- Review job documentation, photos, moisture readings, and daily notes for accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with company polices, IICRC standards, and safety regulations.
- Assist with estimating and job file management when necessary.
- Accurately documenting service details, including before-and-after photos, job notes, and any additional customer requirements or tasks.
Operational Performance:
- Monitor production metrics and profitability.
- Ensure proper maintenance and utilization of company vehicles, equipment, and inventory.
- Identifies and addresses opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and over all team performance.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, cleaning techniques, and equipment to enhance skills and knowledge.
On-Call Expectations:
- This position participates in an on-call rotation to respond to emergency restoration losses, including water, fire, mold, and storm damage.
- On-call responsibilities may include evenings, weekends, and holidays based on the established rotation schedule.
- The Mitigation Manager is expected to provide leadership and support during after-hours emergency response situations and assist with coordinating crews and resources if needed.
Qualifications or Requirements:
- Experience in water, fire, mold, asbestos, lead, or disaster restoration.
- Leadership or management experience preferred.
- Execptional organizational and communication skills (especially to our customers)
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of IICRC standards and restoration best practices.
- Valid Driver's License with clean driving record.
- IICRC certifications preferred.
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings for on-call rotation.
- Uphold a professional appearance and demeanor. Leads with honesty & integrity.
- Any rebuild or carpet certifications / knowledge are a huge plus.
- General contractor work (drywall, tile, carpentry, framing, plumbing, etc.) is a huge plus.
