Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT/MRI Technologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality CT/MFI scans and diagnostic evaluations to assist in patient care. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, aseptic techniques, and the ability to work effectively in a clinical setting.
Duties
- Perform CT/MRI scans on patients as per physician orders, ensuring high-quality imaging for diagnostic purposes.
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret scan results.
- Maintain equipment functionality by performing routine checks and troubleshooting as necessary.
- Adhere to safety protocols and aseptic techniques during procedures to minimize risk to patients and staff.
- Document patient information accurately, including medical history and any relevant details pertaining to the scan.
- Provide compassionate care while ensuring patient comfort throughout the scanning process.
- Stay updated with advancements in CT/MRI technology and participate in ongoing professional development.
Skills
- Proficiency in CT/MRI imaging techniques and diagnostic radiology principles.
- Familiarity with sonography principles is a plus.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to imaging and patient care.
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments such as ERs and urgent care settings.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and healthcare teams.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of patient safety.
