Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a variety of trucks, tractor-trailers, and box trucks to deliver freight efficiently. We are looking for Regional drivers - away 2 to 3 night a week.

Duties
- Safely operate a range of commercial trucks such as tractor-trailer, and box truck vehicles to transport goods.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment and techniques, ensuring secure placement for safe transit.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks when necessary, utilizing mechanical knowledge to operate relevant machinery effectively.
- Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures during transportation routes.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, vehicle maintenance records, and delivery documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues promptly.
Skills
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for operating vehicles.
- Mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle inspections and troubleshoot minor issues.
- Experience driving heavy-duty trucks including front loader, rear loader, roll-off trucks, dump trucks, tractor-trailers, and flatbeds.
- Strong understanding of manual transmission operation in commercial vehicles.
- Proven ability to load & unload cargo efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
- Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety and compliance with traffic regulations.
