Job Overview
We're seeking a motivated Insurance Agent to join our small team. You'll build and maintain client relationships while delivering exceptional customer service. This role combines Medicare sales with assiting with marketing activities and client communication.
Responsibilities
- Support leadership with initiatives to grow and retain the agency's client base
- Answer in-bound calls to schedule and process new and existing clients, as needed
- Implement effective sales strategies
- Explain policy options and benefits clearly to clients
- Deliver outstanding customer service with prompt issue resolution
- Manage and maintain customer database
- Foster client relationships through consistent follow-up and personalized service
- Stay current with industry trends, products, and regulations
- Be open to assisting with other tasks that grow brand and client loyalty
Skills
- Health and Life license in Texas required
- AHIP certification required
- Proven outside or retail sales experience preferred (if no insurance sales experience)
- Strong customer service and phone skills with ability to build client rapport required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail required
- Ability to work in a small team environment is required
- Experience in digital marketing strategies preferred
- Strong understanding of multi-channel marketing approaches and software systems a plus

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
