Work Overview
We are looking for a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to provide speech services under the supervision of a licensed Speech Pathologist. Supports the treatment of patients with speech, language, voice and fluency disorders. Adheres to the plan of care that the Speech Pathologist and Physician prescribes.
Key Responsibilities

Plans activities and provides therapeutic services for speech and language disorders

Maintain a full time caseload of at least 40 visits weekly

Records type of treatment and patients reaction to it in the patients notes, which are written on the day of the visit and incorporated in the patients record weekly

Be supervised by an SLP
-
Follow guidelines for supervision as outlines by the State Board of Speech Language Pathology

Can trach and follow their authorized visits according to what had been allowed by insurance and in the plan of care
Benefits

Requirements
-
Bachelor's Degree in Speech Language Pathology
-
Experience with pediatric, autistic and developmentally disabled clients

Great customer service skills
