American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with 3+ years of experience to join a JCAHO-accredited regional health center serving the Navajo, Hopi, and Southern Paiute communities in a culturally rich, rural setting in Northwestern Arizona.

Work setting is a JCAHO-accredited regional health center serving a 4,400 square-mile service area in Northwestern Arizona, functioning as a referral center for the western Navajo and Hopi Reservations

Performs general MRI and MRA procedures in an outpatient and inpatient environment

Experience with PACS/RIS systems is required

Schedule is 4x10-hour shifts, Tuesday through Friday, 10:30 AM – 9:30 PM

Minimum of 3 years of MRI experience required

Current ARRT certification in both Radiology RT(R) and MRI (MR) required
-
Current BLS certification from the AHA required
-
Active Arizona State License in Radiology and MRI required; license required if applicable

Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiology

Proficiency with PACS/RIS systems, email, and general computer programs

Performs general MRI and MRA procedures to maintain optimal patient flow

The facility serves a diverse community including Navajo, Hopi, and Southern Paiute tribal members, as well as Anglo, Hispanic, and African American residents

This position is located in a very rural area; on-site housing may be available but is not guaranteed — a housing application must be submitted at least 2 weeks prior to start

Fingerprinting is required prior to start and is completed during the compliance process via mail

COVID-19 vaccination is required; flu vaccination exemptions may be accepted with a declination form

Orientation is held on a bi-weekly cycle
