The Mini‑Bar Attendant is responsible for maintaining, restocking, and auditing all in‑room mini-bars to ensure accuracy, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction. This role helps support revenue generation by ensuring products are consistently available, securely accounted for, and presented in accordance with hotel standards
Key Responsibilities
Mini‑Bar Stocking & Maintenance
Restock all guestroom mini‑bars according to par levels and brand standards.
Ensure products are fresh, clean, and properly arranged.
Check expiration dates and remove any outdated items.
Clean mini‑bar surfaces, interiors, and trays as needed.
Inventory & Recording
Accurately track and record product consumption for each room.
Enter charges into the hotel’s system in a timely and accurate manner.
Conduct daily inventory counts and notify management of shortages or discrepancies.
Assist in monthly or weekly inventory audits.
Guest Service & Communication
Respond to guest requests for additional mini‑bar items promptly and courteously.
Communicate any in-room issues (e.g., refrigerator malfunctions, missing equipment, maintenance needs) to the appropriate department.
Respect guest privacy and follow hotel policies regarding room entry.
Operational Excellence
Follow all safety, sanitation, and security procedures.
Handle products with care to minimize waste and breakage.
Follow key control procedures and maintain confidentiality of guest information.
Support additional F&B or Housekeeping tasks as requested by management.
Skills & Competencies
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent time management and ability to work independently.
Basic math and record‑keeping skills.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
Work Environment
Fast‑paced hospitality environment.
Frequent walking, bending, and lifting.
Regular interaction with guest rooms and guest‑facing areas.
