We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow within the office while providing exceptional care to our patients. Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
- STERILIZATION DUTIES.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as required.
- Record patient medical histories, vital signs, and any relevant information accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
- Manage patient records using Denticon or similar systems, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Collaborate with the dental team on treatment plans involving prosthodontics and endodontics as needed.
- Operate 3D scanners for imaging when required.
Experience
- Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures is highly desirable.
- Experience working with Orthodontics is a plus.
- Knowledge of vital signs monitoring is beneficial.
- Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Denticon.
- Understanding of aseptic techniques and infection control standards is essential.
