Dock Solutions is a growing company based in Rocky Mount, Virginia, specializing in dock and boat lift construction, custom fabrication, and service work. We manufacture high-quality dock components, perform expert boat lift repairs, and complete alterations and upgrades to existing dock systems. At the center of our operation is our in-house welding shop, where precision, durability, and craftsmanship drive everything we build.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Welder/Fabricator with at least 4 years of hands-on welding experience. Our focus is on quality, reliability, and pride in craftsmanship. If you’re looking to join a small, dedicated team where your work makes a direct impact, this could be the place for you.
What You’ll Do
- Work in our in-house welding shop fabricating dock parts and accessories.
- Perform MIG and TIG welding.
- Assist with custom fabrication projects for homeowners and contractors.
- Take part in occasional repair work and alterations to existing docks.
- Working independently as-well as with others.
- Enjoy variety in your day-to-day projects—no two jobs are exactly the same.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 4 years welding experience (aluminum experience preferred).
- Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a team-player mindset.
- Ability to problem-solve, manage your time, and take pride in your work.
- Forklift experience is a plus (but not required).
- Must be punctual and willing to contribute to a positive work environment.
- Proficient in aluminum and steel welding
