Overview
The Restoration Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing restoration projects, ensuring that properties affected by fire, water damage, or mold are restored to their original condition. This position requires a strong understanding of the restoration industry and the ability to lead a team effectively. Duties
- Manage and coordinate restoration projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
- Supervise and train staff on restoration techniques, safety protocols, and equipment usage.
- Conduct site assessments to determine the extent of damage and develop appropriate restoration plans.
- Oversee cleaning operations, including fire restoration, water damage restoration, mold remediation, and asbestos abatement.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various restoration tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of project progress, materials used, and labor hours.
- Communicate with clients to provide updates on project status and address any concerns.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards throughout all phases of restoration work.
Skills
- Proven experience in the restoration industry with a focus on cleaning techniques, fire restoration, water damage restoration, and mold remediation.
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to construction and restoration tasks.
- Strong knowledge of carpet cleaning methods and asbestos abatement procedures is preferred.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail in assessing damages and implementing solutions.
