Summary
As a Care Worker at Guardian Angel Home Health, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate support and assistance to patients in their homes. This position is essential for ensuring that our clients receive the highest standard of care while maintaining their dignity and independence.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation.
- Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to hygiene protocols.
- Support patients with disabilities by providing tailored care that meets their individual needs.
- Respect and uphold residents' rights while delivering compassionate care.
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families during challenging times.
- When appropriate report any change in status of client to supervisor.
Requirements
- Previous experience in home care or healthcare settings preferred.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality practices.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is desirable.
