We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher (Mild/Moderate) to join our team for the 2026-2027 school year in Sacramento, CA. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting students with mild to moderate disabilities and a passion for creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) aligned with student goals and needs.
- Provide specialized instruction and support to students with mild to moderate disabilities.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, families, and support staff.
- Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
- Maintain a positive, structured, and engaging classroom environment.
- Support students’ academic, social, and behavioral development.
Qualifications:
- Valid California Special Education Credential (Mild/Moderate preferred).
- Experience working with students with disabilities in a school setting.
- Strong knowledge of IEP development and special education practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Pay: $60.00 - $70.00 per hour
