The Pharmacist Floater will be responsible for management of the pharmacy department and expected to be invested in its growth. This includes:
- Filling and dispensing prescriptions for patients
- Consulting patients concerning their prescription and over-the-counter needs
- Administering Immunizations
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy department
- Developing local relationships via community outreach (including community events, visiting doctor offices, participation in health fairs and offsite clinics.)
- Providing MTM services
Successful candidates must meet the following qualifications:
- BS or Doctor of Pharmacy Degree
- Licensed in the jurisdiction
- Knowledge of McKesson pharmacy systems a plus
- Retail experience a plus
- Certified Immunizer
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to multi-task and work towards goals.
- Strong PC skills (Windows, Outlook Email)
- This position will require shifts at the 3 Hudson Valley, NY area pharmacies in Tops Markets. This includes shifts at the Rhinebeck, New Paltz, and Lagrange locations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55.00 - $70.00 per hour
