What You'll Actually Do
- Own the Experience – Manage inbound customer inquiries across multiple channels (phone, email, and chat) with a warm, professional, and authentic tone.
- Solve Problems – Think on your feet to troubleshoot customer issues, resolve billing or account discrepancies, and navigate solutions smoothly.
- Build Relationships – Listen actively, empathize with customer needs, and provide clear, reassuring guidance that builds long-term loyalty.
- Handle Details – Accurately log customer interactions, update account profiles, and track resolution statuses in our CRM system.
- Support the Team – Collaborate with cross-functional teams and shift leads to stay updated on product changes, system updates, or new company policies.
- Maintain Standards – Hit key performance goals (like response time and high customer satisfaction scores) while maintaining a clean, organized workspace.
- Value-Add Service – Identify customer needs and subtly suggest relevant add-ons, promotions, or loyalty programs to enhance their overall experience.
Who We're Looking For
Required:
- 1+ years of customer service, call center, or client-facing retail experience.
- Exceptional active listening and communication skills—you can explain complex details simply and clearly.
- Strong multi-tasking skills—ability to converse with a customer while navigating modern software tabs and typing accurate notes.
- A calm, empathetic problem-solver mentality; able to handle fast-paced "rush hours" or de-escalations without losing your cool.
- Comfortable with modern computer setups, digital ticketing systems, and basic tech troubleshooting.
- Professional demeanor, plenty of patience, and a positive, can-do attitude.
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience with modern CRM and support platforms (Salesforce, Zendesk, HubSpot, etc.).
- Background in tech support, hospitality, or high-volume service environments.
- Customer service certification or specialized communication training.
- Bilingual skills (Spanish/English is a major plus in the Austin market!).
