INSPIRE Physical Therapy & Wellness is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our mobile outpatient team serving Westerly and Charlestown, Rhode Island.
We have an established caseload in this region and an immediate need for additional treatment capacity beginning at the end of September. We are initially looking for coverage through the end of February, with the possibility of transitioning into a permanent part-time or full-time position if it's a great fit for both of us.
A Different Kind of Mobile Therapy
INSPIRE is a locally owned mobile outpatient PT & OT practice — not traditional home health.
Our clinicians provide one-on-one outpatient therapy in clients' homes and senior living communities. No homebound requirement. No juggling multiple patients at once.

The Opportunity
We are seeking coverage from approximately end of September/October 2026 through February 2027.
Westerly and Charlestown are established service areas for INSPIRE with historically consistent patient volume. While healthcare naturally experiences some fluctuation around the holidays, we anticipate a strong need for PTA coverage throughout the fall and winter.
INSPIRE continues to grow throughout southern Rhode Island, and we would be very open to discussing a transition into a permanent part-time or full-time position following the initial coverage period.
Who We're Looking For
You may be a great fit if you:
- Hold an active Rhode Island PTA license
- Enjoy working with older adults
- Are comfortable working independently in clients' homes
- Value quality of care and meaningful relationships with your clients
- Are dependable, communicative and organized
- Want flexibility and autonomy while still having the support of a clinical team
- Enjoy being part of the communities you serve
Experience with geriatrics, orthopedics, neurological conditions, balance/fall prevention or home-based care is a plus.
An interest or background in fitness, wellness, personal training or community exercise programming is also welcomed as INSPIRE continues to develop additional wellness opportunities.
