Teacher Assistant – Infant & Toddler Program

BeKonnected Childcare is a small, nurturing in-home daycare serving infants and toddlers in the Linda Vista community. We are seeking a caring, reliable, and energetic Teacher Assistant who is passionate about early childhood development and creating meaningful connections with young children.
This position is ideal for someone who loves working with infants and toddlers in a close-knit, family-style environment and is looking to grow within the early childhood education field.
Position Details
- Location: Linda Vista, San Diego, CA
- Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Full-time or part-time
- Hourly Pay: 19-25
Responsibilities
- Assist with the daily care and supervision of infants and toddlers
- Support diapering, feeding, napping, and daily routines
- Engage children in age-appropriate play, sensory activities, music, movement, and outdoor exploration
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized learning environment
- Foster positive relationships with children and families
- Support children's social-emotional development through responsive caregiving
- Assist with meal and snack preparation and cleanup
- Follow licensing regulations and health and safety procedures
Qualifications
- Experience working with infants and/or toddlers
- Passion for early childhood education and child development
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Background check and fingerprint clearance required (reimbursement after 6 months of employment)
- Child Development coursework or ECE units preferred but not required
