Bilingual Legal Assistant (Spanish)
Our law firm is a successful plaintiff personal injury law firm of 18 employees. Our two senior partners are husband and wife and they have each been practicing over 40 years. The firm handle injury cases specializing in auto accidents .
Our firm is divided into Four stages. In Stage One we have legal assistants who assist with the interviewing of new clients and the opening of files. Stage Two case managers assist with preparation of demand packages to insurance carriers and negotiations and settlements of claims. If we are not able to negotiate a fair settlement then with our clients permission the case progresses to Stage Three which is our litigation stage. We also have a Fourth Stage which is our Frontdesk & Management Team which includes our receptionists, our office manager and other staff members who assist with the administration of the office.
We are looking to add a legal assistant to our Stage 1 and Stage 3.
Our ideal applicant will have the following attributes:
- Must be bilingual (Spanish)
- Have strong writing skills
- Be detail oriented
- Be self motivated
- Be able to multi-task
- Be able to work independently
- Must be able to work effectively in a team
- Have experience with Microsoft Office, preferably Outlook
We are willing to hire applicants without any personal injury experience for our Stage One, however we do require a college degree. Additionally, there is room for growth within the firm and we encourage applicants interested in other positions to apply.
We do require litigation experience for our Stage 3 litigation position.
All of our legal assistants are fluent in English and Spanish.
