Live-In Caregiver

- Pay: $150/day
- Shift: 4 days on and 3 days off
Visiting Angels, Waco is a leading non-medical, private duty home care agency providing companionship, safety supervision and personal care to help adults continue to live safely, with dignity and independently in their homes.
We have a need for wonderful and talented Live-in Caregivers for our clients in Blum! This is a live-In care opportunity- you would have a rotating schedule and would spend 3 continuous days with your client; then 4 days off; then 4 continuous days with your client; then 3 days off and then begin the cycle again. Caregivers MUST have reliable transportation of your own that you will be driving to and from each client and an active Driver's License.

Caregiver Angel job duties include but are not limited to:
- Hygiene and grooming assistance (bathing, dressing, incontinence care, etc.)
- Medication reminders
- Monitoring/safety supervision
- Meal preparation
- Light housekeeping
- Laundry, errands and shopping
- Ambulation/mobility assistance,including lifting upwards of 50lbs
- Supportive companionship
- Respond quickly in case of an emergency
- Transportation to and from appointments using your own vehicle
Requirements:
- A great attitude, helpful and ready for anything
- Ability to take direction, follow rules and be proactive
- Good time management skills
- High integrity and strong ethics
- MUST have over 1 year of hands-on caregiving experience with the elderly
- MUST be able to work weekends
- Be over 18 years old
- Successful completion of a Criminal History check
- Professional references
- Reliable transportation of your own that you will be driving
- Valid Driver's License/clean driving record/proof of insurance
