Duties

- Medication Management: Assist clients with medication reminders and ensure adherence to prescribed medication schedules as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Mobility Assistance: Aid clients with mobility challenges, including transferring from bed to chair and supporting walking or movement exercises.
- Household Support: Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and grocery shopping to maintain a safe and comfortable living environment.
- Monitoring Health and Safety: Observe and report any changes in clients’ health status or behavior to appropriate healthcare personnel, ensuring timely interventions.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of care provided, including daily logs and any incidents, in compliance with regulatory requirements and confidentiality standards.
Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; certification in home health aide training or nursing assistance preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience as a home care aide or in a related field, particularly with elderly or disabled individuals, is highly desirable.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with clients and their families; ability to demonstrate empathy and patience.
- Physical Ability: Capacity to perform physical tasks, including lifting and assisting clients, while maintaining a focus on safety.
- Reliability: Proven track record of punctuality and dependability in previous roles, with a commitment to providing consistent care.
